Tn the House of Commons, Mr. Keir Hardie (Labour) asked whether, in view of tho beneficial results of the Royal visit to' Paris, Cabinet would advise His Majesty ,to visit -Berlin, in order to strengthen the growing feeling of friendliness between tbe.British and the Gorman peoples. Mr. F. D. Aclandj Parliamentary Secretary to the Foreign Office, replied that the King had visited Berlin in 1913,. and it was impossible to pay further State visits abroad during 1914.
