SNIPING NON-UNIONISTS

By Telegraph—Press Association—CopjrißhV Washington, April 28. Cabinet has ordered tho dispatch of Federal troops to suppress the Colorado disorders. Violence is increasing. Strikors and militia aro again lighting a battlo, in which eight men have already been killed. Tne minors aro encamped on the heights overlooking tho mines, and shooting down non-strikers and militiamen. The outrages, including the burning of mino workings and buildings, continue. (Rec. April 29, 10.15 p.m.) New York, April 28. iiio fighting at Boulder, Colorado, has resulted in another death, whilo many have been wounded in the neighbourhood. Women and children took refuge within the Hecla Mine enclosure, and remained there for a whole day, lying cm the floor of their homes, in order to avoid the bullets which were poured into the mine. Strikers are entrenched on every hill, preparing for the arrival of the Stato troops. Tho citizens have organised a volunteer force, to endeavour to dislodge the strikers. Mr. John D. Rockefeller states that if tho strikers have any grievance tho company's officials are ready to meet them in a reasonable spirit. Mr. Rockefellor referred to numerous concessions which' had been made to the employees from time to time. Tho unionisation of the mine, however, would not be tolerated for a single instant. Only ten per cent, of tho employees were actually union men. Owing to the absolute paralysis of the State authorities, President AVilson has allowed the dispatch of State troops, stipulating that the troops shall only bo used in the actual restoration of order.
