SIXTEEN LIVES LOST By Telegraph—Press Association—Copjrisht Algiers, April 27. The Russian steamer Kometa (2005 tons), petrol-laden, blew up off Sidi Forrush. Fifteen persons perished and fifteen were rescued. Five of tlib latter sustained burns, aud are in a cri-. tical condition.
