There have been over twenty in two days, including a timber yard at Wednesbury. involving a loss of £6000, a. tar distillery at Bradford, and tinplate works in Glamorganshire "Times" and Sydney "Bun" Eenricee. London, April 19. Concerted action by Suffragettes has been responsible for extensive damage. There have been numerous fires besides that on Great Yarmouth pier. At tho Empire Theatre- firo at Kingston-on-Thamesr the stock scenery was destroyed. The firo at the grandstand at Kompton Park racecourse- was promptly noticed and tho building saved. In addition to the skating rink and picture palaco, a steam laundry at Penzanco ivas destroyed. It ia believed tho next move of the militants will be a scheme to spoil the pleasures of the London season by annoying tho noblest families during tho height of the social round.
