BROOKLYN HARRIERS.
NEW. CLUB BOOMS OPENED, He pew dub rooms of the Brooklyn Harriers' Amateur Athletic Club, at 284 Wakefield Street, were opened by a, successful social last evening. Tbere wore about .fifty couples present. The 'opening ceremony was performed by tho. president, Mr. W, Ballaatyno, who congratulated, the-dub on its enterprise m getting larger rosms. This waa-no-cessitated by tic increased membership, which now totalled about .100 names. Mr- D, M'Laren, vice-president, also congratulated tho club. An enjoyable programme of dances was indulged in, tho music being provided by Mr. and Mrs. Harleu and Mr. Borvev. The M.C.'s were Messrs. B. Harvey and P.' Wilton, who did a gre!& deal to make- the opening eeremc-ny a success. It is intended to start a debating club in conjunction with the other activities of tho Brooklyn Harriers A.A.O.
