GOOD TEMPLARS
The Hope of Petone Lodge of Rood Templars, No. 187, held 'its w*?Jdv meeting on Wednesday night. Bro, J. Rose, C.T., presided, and the Grand Chief Templar, Bro. •A. IS. Thomson, was also present. Tw«i new candidates wore initiated. An invitation was received from the Pioneer Lodge, No. 11, to pay their lodge a visit,' and was accepted. After business had been transacted Bro. Thomson, G.0.T., gave a very interesting lecture, entitled "A Talk About the Pacific Islands." Bro. Thomson also referred to Jodgo matters, stating that he was highly pleased at the manlier in which tli'o Hope of Petone Lodge was progressing. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded him for tlifi manner in which he had provided the item for tho evening.
