FIRE AT A PICTURE THEATRE .. TETRAZZINI SINGS AMID FLAMES By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright New York, April 14. At Canton, Ohio, when a fire threatened to start a panic at a picture theatre, Tctrazzini, tho famous singer, sang for iivo minutes, stopping tho rush of maddened 1 peoplo, aim saving, probably, a score of lives.
The. curtains were ablaze when the singer started to sing, and although there was every appearahco of the house, being destroyed; the people were so astonished at Tetrazzini's wonderful nerve that they resumed their seats. The attendants successfully extinguished the fire.
