9 . iLIST OF EASTER ATTRACTIONS. For Easter a host of attractions is (to be presented. On Saturday the new Grand Opera House will be opened with tho performance of the American Musical Burlesque Co. (in "A Day at tho Races"). Tho other lialls of also, are catering for tho holiday public. On Eastor Monday there ivill he_ an iexoursion to Picton by the s.s. Waliine. A bowling tourney in aid of the Citizens' Carnival Fund will be commenced on Saturday, and continued on Monday. Cricket followers are being provided with a match between the Wellington representative eleven and a first-class team of Christchurch cricketers. _ The match commences at 1.45 on Friday, and will ba continued on Saturday and Monday. Rugby enthusiasts may find something good to look at in tho meeting of Petono and Ponsonby at Petono' on Saturday., ■ . Tho racing • fixtures within reach or Wellington are:—April 11 and 13, AVaijarapa R.C. Autumn Meeting; and April 13 and 14, Feilding Easter Meeting. ■_
