The National Dairy Show is scheduled for June 10, 17, 18, and 19 next, and in view, of the popularity of the fixture its coming will bo looked forward to with interest. Parnierston North is the meeting ground ror dairymen, pastqralists, ajricultaralists, horticulturists, orchardists, I'oultrymen, and all the industries allied to them, and tho'National Dairy Show is made the occasion for meetings of the various bodies. Tho premises of the Manawatu and ."West Coast A. and P. Association, comprising offices, lecture hall, and committee rooms, are always at. the disposal'of interested people, aud, provided that due notice is given, efforts are made to provide accommodation for all applicants. This year's exhibition, i.s again to show an' advance. The dairy factory produce schedule has been revised, and tho growing importance of the cheese industry recognised by flu increase of over £50 iu~the prize moneys. Extra classes ara also provided for cliecsa maclo from lion-naG-teurised milk, and a class inserted in. the butter division for butter made from liome-sepsrated cream. The Manawatu Poultry .Association has extended its schedule, and big entries are anticipated. Tho Collinson Cup, which has hitherto 'been a ten-guinea cup, and a straight-out win for hunters, is this year "altered to a thirty-guinea "cup. to \, r .three times. The first day, which lias Sormeriy boon void of ring events, is to he devoted to_sports for scholars within a radius of 50 miles of Palmerston. The. machinery_ display will again be worth seeing, and intending visitors are reminded that now is the time to secure accommodation, as Palmerston North is very full at show time.
