ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES (By Telegraph.—Press Association.)
FOUND DROWNED. Dunedin, March 28. The body of a man, about 40 years of age, was found on the rocks un'der the Victoria Wharf at Rattray Street. The body apparently had been in the water about twenty-four hours. It has not been identified. ■ The police believe that tho body is that of a man named Bills, who comes from Kokonga, Otago Central. TAURANGA LAUNCH ACCIDENT. • Tauranga, March 28. The verdict at the inquest on Harry Gray, who was drowned by the swamping of a launch from Motiti Island at tho entrance to tho harbour on Wednesday was that death was due to drowning, the result of a launch accident. Tho body of Thompson has not yet been found.
