Admiral Palander's expedition is intended to complete Nordonskjold's investigation of Grahamland. The base will be established on the cast coast of Antarctic Sound, Special attention will be paid to the mountain range, and its possible connection with tho mountain system.of South America, and also to fossil formations, glacier process, and atmospheric variations,
