Mr. Millen (Minister of Defence) states that, aftor making exhaustive tests, it lias been decided that tho ships' of tho Australian Navy cannot nso'Australian coal, owing to the large percentage of ash clinker and smoke. Tho ships will havo to use West-port' coal as in the* past. In this connection the "Sun" has published an article declaring that the battleship Australia's boilers have already been ruined by the uso of Australian coal. Tho statement has been officially denied.
