EXETER TRAIN SMASH: THE INQUEST. By Telegraph—Press Association—CobjtleM Sydney, March 21; At the inquest on tho people killed in tho railway disaster at Exeter, tho guard declared that tho speed of tho train was not more than four miles an hour.
Other -witnesses estimated the speed at fifteen to twenty miles an hour. It was shown that tho night was foggy, but that no fog signal was used.
