(By Telegraph.—Press Association,) ' A'shburton, March 19./ ihe Ashburton Agricultural and Pastoral Association's second autumn show, which ;is[ also its thirtieth annual exhibition, was concluded to-day 'under most favourable, circumstances. The gate takings established a new record, and 800 people must havo visited the show this afternoon. The entries, which also constituted a'record, were in, the main of a high standard, especially the sheep and tho draught horses. Tho Canterbury Agricultural, Collogo secured"" the prize for tho most points in tho sheep section, scoring (principally in Border Leicesters, though it also made a good showing iu English Leicesters and Shropshire 1 Downs. I. Andrews secured most points In English Leicesters and won tho Luariston Cup. The points prize in draught horses has not yet been made up, but J. Patrick secured the championship ribbons for entire and marc. Produce entries were very large, and competition was keen. Light horses were poorly represented with the exception of hunters, ponies, and saddlo horses. J.;W. Selby's Clarence secured the cup for tho champion hunter. Pigs and dogs were poor, but the homo industries section, like produce, was heavilv filled. Somo 30 Territorials from Temuka attended tho show as the guests of the association.'
