There were only five cases before the Magistrate's Court m\, Satuiday. Mr. D. G.A. Cooiwr, S.M., presided. Chas. Reynolds pleaded guilty to two charges, one of insobriety aiid another of using obscene language. On the first charge accused was convicted and discharged, and on the second ho was fined 405., with witness's . expenses 4s. For insobriety Kuacno Mabouey was fined £1, while two first offenders who failed to appear and their bail estreated, and another was convicted and discharged. ' '
