Tho "Times" states that- it is rumoured that Mr. Lloyd George is seeking to induce the Nationalists to agree to the terms which Sir Edward Carson can submit. regarding tho Ulster quostion. Many of the Liberals are willing to meet Sir Edward Carson by abrogating, the time limit, but 'the Nationalists at present refuse any further modifications of tho Bill. Tho "Daily Chronicle" (Liberal) states that tho Nationalists and the Government arc in complete accord. . ."Times" and Sydney "Sun" Services. (Rec. March 12, 5.20 p.m.) London, March 11. Tho London "Times," in a leading article, says that it is surprised that tho Government, having gone so far, did not, in the interests of its own cause, adopt the simpler and less contentious principle of excluding the whole province of Ulster instead of thejour counties only. The conference lasted an hour and a half. \ ; . HOME RULE FOR WALES. London, March 11. Mr. E. T. John (Liberal member for Denbighshire) has introduced a Bill gjv-' ing Home Rule to Wales. It provides for a single chamber and | the women's franchise.
