Aucitfana, Ma T ch 11, A young woman named Oonni.o' Jkiie was admitted to tho hospital on Monday evening, and died a few hours later, A post-mortem examination disclosed the fact that suspicious circumstances were connected with the death. The 'inquest Was adjoUnied. -Deceased was single, and a native of Invercai-gill. FAiL OVER EMBANKMENT. Chrrstchurch, Mnrcu li. Ho-was identified as Ceiin Campbell, a fireman., and was picked up in a semi-«a.n.sci.oUg eonditiaK, nttd roffioved ta the wharf casualty ward, whc.ro ho Was attended to. He was found to be suffering from a compound fracture of the right arm, '. and was in a very weak state from «s* posure, having apparently kin out all night. The embankment over wloioh he fell was about forty foot high. Me is believed to be a 'single man, and, so far as is known, has no relatives in the Dominion He died from his injuries at about ten minutes to twelve.
