DATE OF CLOSING. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Auckland, February 23. The period of the Auckland Exhibition has not yet been determined, but,the closing date will probably bo Saturday, April. 11. Discussing tho matter last evening, tho president (Mr. Geo. Elliott) said that ah application had been made to the Government by tho commissioners for authority to carry on the Exhibition for two months after February 28, with a right to oloso it at any time within that period. In order that there should not be a loss a weekly attendance equivalent to 10.000 adults, exclusive of season-ticket holders, would be required. ■■' So long as tho attraction to the public was sufficient to maintain that standard, the Exhibition would be continued, but his present opinion was that it should, be closed on tho Saturday of Easter week. .' ..'
