CITY FIRES.
A FEW MINOR OUTBREAKS. The City Fire Brigade woro called out lo deal with llireo small outbicaks of fire durinjj tho week-end. At 9.20 p.m. on Saturday they wbio summoned to a house at 32 Martin Square, o.ff Taraiinlu Street, occupied by Mr. Frauk Morliii and owned by Mrs. Miller. The contents of one room nnd tho room itself were slightly damaged by fiie and water, Tho trouble had bean Caused by. tho window cilrtains being sot alight by a candle. The extent of tho damage does not exceed a few pounds. Tho next summons csmie from No. 9 Elizabeth Street, Tho house was occupied by Mrs. Gcorgo Reynolds and ovuied by Mr. H. J, Hornc, of Panama Street. Here ako thn outbreak waa caused by some curtains catching fire. Tho damage was inconsiderable. Last evening at 6.45 tho brigade extinguished a small fii<> at the rear of Mr- W. Fear's workshop in Old Customhouse Street Tho firo did not spread fiom the few packing cases where it had originated, and no dama&o was done. ,' ~..---
