—. —o — There .was a large attendance of seafaring men at tho Sailors' Friend Society's rooms last, evening.) when Mr. F. J 'Proctor provided a delightful concert. Mt\ JamfiS -Moore, Missioner, occupied tho chair. The' following contitrated items to tho programme :-*• Miss B. Colley, Messrs. l'\ 3. Proctor, C. E. Proctor, Simpson, Harrison (11, M.5. Ruapehu), and JPhia {s.s, Clan Buchanan). The orchestra, under the direction of Mr. Proctor, rendered several delightful selections. Tho eonumdrum competition was won by seamen from tho It.M.S, ltua.pelm, A hearty vote of thanks was accorded the performers at the conclusion of the concert.
