Allen) visited Groytowii'to-day and jnspeCtcd the school, and expressed satisfaction with what he saw. The Minister was accompanied by Sir Walter Buchaimn, M.l 5 ., and for. Hogg, of the Education Board. He was met at the school by the chairman of the committee (Mr. C. J. Beard), the headmaster (Mr. W. C. Davies), and' t)ie secretary (Mr. Mark Maxtouj. Ho gavo the schooi a holiday for Tuesday, and gave each class a subjeet for imposition. The three best of each class will be sent to tho Minister. Sir Walter then drove tho party down to the hospital. I)r. Bey (medical oificer), Mr. Loasby (the Mayor), and the matron received the visitors. ■ • . Tho Minister and Mr. Hogg afterwards caught the 4 p.m. train for town.
