THE FEDERAL STATISTICIAN'S REPORT. . By Telesraph—Press Association-Copyright 1 Sydney, February 9. The Federal Statistician reports that , the cost of living did,not increase durl ing 1913. There was a general upward tendency during 1912, but during last 3 year this ceased. The prices of gvoccr- , ies were found to be nearly 3 per i centum lower, but rents had advanced I another G per centum, the average cost ' of living, therefore, being about the ' same for two years.
