He had been seven years actively engaged in the Labour movement, and Hcver expected to get a any election. It was tttio that ho had stated that he was opposed to the genera] strike, and, presumably, that statement had wot pleased a certain section, but the union had upheld him, and ho trusted that through the incoming year they would work harmoniously together.
