'IWMayor: Mr. Bradley is proposing to run another. Councillor Dawson '-aid that this would be more satisfactory. He would not have liked to see the council authorise a service by two or three buses only. ' Be would' like to see the n tes defined, because ho did not think that the-routes ptoposed now were at all satisfactory. Mr. Bunny; Tho routes seem to me to bo rcrv satisfactory indeed. These men are going into this venture, putting their own money into it, mid I don't think we should lutmpei - thorn. They J nrc- business' men, and I presume that they, are going to run where they can pick up the traffic. ■' ■■■■■ ■Councillor Eoßipthorne: I suppo'gn that they will observe the speed limit? The Mayort We havo ilever done tins with regard to ordinary- horse buses. Wo hayo never fixed routes for them. They run where they can get passengers. It might be different if these people wore asking for a subsidy. We havo heen told that there is a' demand fo-r thess buses, and Wβ want to sep what 1 the result ii the exporien-ce- will be.
