The flew vessel is 887t't. long, Sift. 6iii, wide, and will-have a gross tonnage, of over 50,000 being thus sft. longer, 'Mi- broader, and about 4000 tons heavier thaii the Olympic. Tho most important new feature of the Britannic is a second or inner shell 3ft. from the hti-H proper, ext-end-'ing over a length of abotjt 700 foet. This space has been ma-do watertight, and it is understood will be used for ' tho carriage of oil. Internally the vessel will bo a big advance on tho Olympic, and will have abotlfc 300 bathrooms, oiip being attached in every stateroom. Tho Britannic Will have a triple screw with rociprocatittg a,nd low pressure turbines, and will £6Vcr the distance from Southampton to New - York comfortably in a little over s>ix davs. It is expected that slfo will be ready, for her trial trip iie-xt September.
