Sir Edward Grey, Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs/and the French Ambassador, havo exchanged Motes confirming the settlement between Great Britain and FraScO arrived at in October last, when the parties ngreed to stop- the gun-running traffic in Muscat. France undertakes to stop the illicit trade from Jubitil, and in return Britain undertakes to check the gun-run-ning from Gibraltar into North' Africa.
