Discussing the Naval Estimates, in the Reichstag, Herr von Jagow (Minister for Foreign Affairs) declared that no positivo proposal for a naval holiday had yet been mado to Gormauy. If it should bo made it would bo examined in a spirit of goodwill. Ho commented on the naval expenditure of Germany, which during tho past five years had increased by £2,750,000, while Britain, already possessing a fleet twice, as strong as that of' Germany, had increased her naval expenditure by £10,800.000, apart from tho sum of £3,000,000 shown in the Supplementary Estimates.
