At a meeting of tiro Tiiihape Chamber of Commerce on' Monday, the secretary was instructed'to write to the Railway Department, pointing out- the lack of proper trucking accoiiiniodattonfor stock at Taiha.pe and adjoining stations, and urging tlie necessity of a big addition to .the number of trucks at .present in use on the Martofl-Qhakwiio section. . It was decided that the Rangitikei County Council bo approached, and the necessity of tho 'litihapc* Napier Road -.pointed' out.
