POPULAR MUSIC, PURE MILK, 'AND, LATE SUNDAY TRAMS. Mi - . John Fuller has given notice, thai lie will move at the next meeting of .the Wellington City Council:— "(1) That 'the City Organist be instructed to report as to tho advisability (a) of including in liis programmes operatic music such as "Maritana" and operas akiu in merit; or (b) <)f devoting one recital monthly, to a; programme arranged on more popular, lines than at present. "(2.) That the Town Clerk bV instructed to write to the-several municipalities of Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide, asking for information as to their method of securing pure milk for infants, and to submit the result of his inquiries to the.council. ■ . "(3) That tho Tramways Committeo ha instructed! to endeavour to arrange in the- new Tramways Agreement for Provision to bo made to enable the trams o be run for half an hour later on Sunday evenings without being subject to "the disadvantages at'present standing in tho way of the proposal, pointed out by the Tramways Board of Manaeement in their recent report on the subject."
