It was resolved to approach tho tennis and bowling clubs with a request to' assist tho carnival. .'. . ~.■ - Tho Boeing Association have promised to arrange a carnival to bo held in tho Town Hall, and it is probablo that arrangements may be madq to hold the New Zealand championships at this function, under some financial arrangement with the council.
