DANNEVIRKE SHOW.
Tliougli the total entries for the Dannevirke A. and' P. Association's show have not yet been compiled,-, it is expected that when, iho final figures aro available they will constitute a record. Prospects for the annual exhibition next week aro particularly bright, and, given ftno weather, the promoters havo no qualms concerning the result. The show undoubtedly holds first placo as the popiilar event of the district, and this year its scopo has boon much extended, many now exhibitors having been attracted, amongst them being the premier breeders in their respective districts! Tho .'grounds have been wonderfully refreshed by recent rains. Tho dust nuisance which was. so much in evidence last year will be a thing of the past, the grounds having been sown in grass since, and, extensive alterations made, for tho convenience of patrons. Many minor improvements carried out should be appreciated by exhibitors, and there is every reason for believing that next ■week's display will bo a credit to the district, tho organisers, and a marked advance on those Tvliich have preceded it. ■ . .
