- NINETEEN BROWNED. GERMAN SHIP SINKS OFF NARE HEAD. By Teleßrajh-P-reas Aisoai&tion'KJojprrfrW / London, February 1. The German ship Hera, bound to Fal--mouth, sank of Nare Head. Nineteen of tlioso -aboaf-d were drowned. The ship struck the rpxks at midnight. Tlio crow launched a Iwat, whick capsized, and tho captain, and fifteen of the men disappeared. Realising that tho.end Was annroaching, he handed the whistb to-s.sailor ivith the remark: "Yoti can dd better than I." A fow minutes later tho sea covered him. A Falinoutli lifeboat heard tho faint whistle, but meanwhile a- huge wave had washed three of tiro Remaining members of the crow off the ship. A lifeboat resetted , tho five who Were left.
