MR. STRINGER, K.C., TO BE PRESIDENT. ■•' , Tho Attorney-General (tho Hon. A. L. Hcrdman) informed a Douisiox reporter yesterday-that the now Judge" of tho Arbitration Court will bo Mr. T. "W. Stringer, K-.C, of Ohristchurch. Mr. Stringer has been Crown Solicitor for the Canterbury district since 1893. Educated at tho Boys' High School, Christehurch, und at Canterbury College, he wa3 articled to Mr. T. I. Joynt, of Christelxureh, and he was admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court in 1879. Hβ was a •member of tho Canterbury College Board of Governors from 1893 to 1896.
