He dis- ' closed tho names of forty conspirators, , ' who are. located at Dacca. .CONSPIRATORS SENTENCED. ■ (Rec. January 23, 10.30 p.m.) . Calcutta, January 22. Twelve of the conspirators who were arrested in Juue last have bceit sentenced to terms varying from two to twelve years' transportation. ■ -'As the result of the revelations originating on the information of the Deputy - Magistrate at, Midrinpaur, 44 persons were accused of conspiracy in Benual. The Deputy-Jlagistvc.te caused a search of his Mil's house at Dacca, in which were found ammunition, a quantity of valuable jewels, find cipher-documents. The jewels were proved to havo been obtained by dacoitv, while the documents contained proposals to seduce . Ghurkho, Punjabi, and Jtah- .. rattasepoys to establish military centres, and to organise wholesale massacres instead of isolated murders. Examination of other houses proved tho existence of an extensive organisation.
