K -'"'W The Suburbs Rifle Club continued the shooting at Miramar on Wednesday and Saturday for trophies presented by-Mrsi J. G. Newton, Messrs. A. Laiirenson, J. L. Turner, and H. Seaton. The ranges fired were 300, 500, and 600 yards. The best shoot for tho .day was.bv It, H. Hunt, with 99. Two possibles were. :::sdG during tho afternoon at 500 yds., by H. Boon and H. Hunt, and several 34 s were recorded. On Thursday next, January 22, the. club will hold a field day at Trentham, in which tiro annual "Daily Mail" competition will bn fired, at ranges 300, 500, 600, 800, 900, and 1000 yards. This will be tho principal shoot of tho season, and a special prize of £5 will bo offered by tho management of tho club to tho member who can boat last year's "Daily Mail" winner, Mr. T.
