Steps to eliminato entirely the commission men, who have lowered the growers' profits, were advocated. Ex-Governor Gooding, of Idaho, declared that unless selfish manufacturers were curbed they would destroy not only tho wool-growers, but'tho nation itself. He added that tho industry would not prosper while the Democrats wero at t'bo head of affairs. Ho attacked Mr. Bryan (Secretary of State) for taking a leading part in tho introduction of the free wool campaign.
