Luckily tho outbreak occurred during the lunch hour, and most of tho employees were outside. A number of girls who were upstairs had a narrow escape, and were lielpe:! out in a fainting condition. REGULAR CROP OF FIRES. (Rec. January 15, 9.25 p.m.) ' Sydney, January 15. The hot. weather has been responsible for a regular crop of disastrous fires in tho country. One outbreak at Morce destroyed a,: big block of business" placesand residences.
