THE CELEBRATIONS CONCSLTJDED. , (By Telcsranb.—Press Association.! Creyinouth, January 13. The pioneers assoinbjed in the Town Hal! this niorning. The weather ivas fine. Tho pioneers- were taken for a drive to Point-Elizabeth,'.ill the vehicles in thu town being romumncleercd. 'Die veterans cheered' as they drove through tho streets. Tin's afternoon they wero entertained at luncheon, and they attended the moving pictures at night. The gubcrnat6rial narty have been everywhere most loyally welcomed. They left this niornnig overland for Christelnirch, and were cheered as the train left the . station. B\s Excellency acliiiowlctlged the compliment with the words "An rcyoir." Their Excellencies had.a mosb.enjoyaWe.timo on the Coast, and were.much' impressed with tho 'scenic'beauties and the possibilities of tho industries of the Const now in a transitory stage, from alluvial mining to dairying, fruitgrowing, etc. The celebrations have now concluded.
