Groom, Federal Minister for Trade and Customs, status that tlio settlement of the sugar question by the Fedeial Government lias given complete satisfaction.in Queensland. Before the close of tho session cvory penny of excise will have been collected. Growers have received an additional £34,00(1 bounty for tho sugar crop this year. which is a record. The, outlook in Queensland is exceedingly good.
