An enjoyab'e concert was given by Mr. and Mrs. Downs at tho Sailors' Friend Society last evening beforo a largo audience. Mr. .J. Moore,, missioned occupied tho chair.% Tho following contributed items to tho programme:—Miss Mueller. Messrs.' Culverwoll, Downs. Goddard, Johnson (R.M.S. Rotorua), Hoffir.an, Tann, Hill, Bright, and Majoney (R.M.S. Ilisvinui). A hearty vote of thnaks was given the pcrfonnar.e at tha conclusion'of tho. concert.
