GREYTOWN.
A special mooting of tho Grey town Borough Council was held on Monday night} and again fixed Tlinrsday as tho legal half-holiday. Tho South Wairarapa County Council wrote reporting receipt of plans and specifications for new Waiohmo Bridge. I'lio Might EoB. W .IT. Massey (Premier) wrote acknowledging iccoipt of resolution of the chairman of the Harbour Board and other matters in connection with this late strike. A largo number of seasonable greetings wore received- from public bodies. The caretaker of tho baths reported 378 attendances during tho month, mostly women. Sanitary: Inspector Keay reported ono case of diphtneria. Otherwise tie borough was satisfactory.
