WEST COAST MINERS RESUME.
-« 1101 MEN EMPLOYED. (By -Telernwh.—Press. Association.) Westport, January 5. Work was resumed at the Westport ■ Coal Company's Westport and Stockton mines to-day. Is"o trouble was experienced. At Denniston 500, Millcrton 471, and Stockton 130 men are employed. Two of the engine-drivers at Pcmiiston, regarded as prominent in connection, with industrial strife, wero given notice that their services would not be required.
