TRAMWAY BAND.
-V ; 'At His Majesty's Theatre last evening the Tramway Band gave an enjoyable sacred concert,. There _ was a l.,"y™ audience present, which, judging bv r the frequent applause, appreciated tub varini.l3 items. Members of the baud were in excelient form, and their contribution?., which included "Imperial Echoes" (march), "Roberto, 2." "Diavolo" (contest selection), "blumbor Song'' (selection), and "Impentor (march), wero well played. Mr. Hamilton Hodges, who was in good voice, sang "Mine Enemy" (Rndd) with much pathos, and had to respond to an encore. Two parts (1) "Unfolding and (2) "Rosa Resurgei," from Tho LUe of a. Ross," bv Liza Lelimauu, were sun"' by Mrs. Woodward, in a manner which won much applause. Mr. Dunn also contributed to the programme, and ■san" "I Hear You Calling Mo" (M.ysh.iTh. The band is to hold a moonlight excursion to Day's Bay on Wednesday night, when a boat will leave the ferry wharf at 7.30 p.m.
