All tho colonics re : quire, subsidies with the exception ■ of Togo and Samoa. :'.- Fifteen ■ million marks (£75p.000) are required for widening the Kaiser Wilhelm Canal, a sum which, with the 193 million marks (£9,650.000) already voted for, makes a total of 208,000,000 marks (£10,400,000). ; ' The ordinary Budget- Estimates for the German Empire show that income and.-expenditure balance at 3,403,011,-. 671> marks (£170,150,583), which, including the ■ supplementary estimates, shows a decrease of 174,387,044 marks :(£5,719,352). as compared with the previous vear.' A. sum of 152,782,119 mark 5'(£7,639,106) is assigned for recusing expenditure on account of the ■1913 Armv Dills, and 268,820,871 marks (£13.441,643) for the non-recurring: expmdituro, making a total of 421,602,990 marks (£21,080,1-19).—Router.
