Tlie United States Naval Department has docitlcd to equip Pensacola, Florida, as a naval aeronautical centre. Tho Navy Department, further, intends to develop its hydro-aeroplono service on an extensive scale. The question of tho purchase of dirigibles,is under consideration, but it is expected that the Department will likely follow tho British lead, deciding in favour of aerplanes.
