There hayo been many resolutions passed 'by'local-'bodies appreoiativo of tho action-taken' by those gentlemen, but I think there arc very many privato men in'-'the.Dominion.who, like' myself, will consider it a'privilege to'subscribe, a sufficient- sum .'to make' a presentation to .Mr. Massey 'and' Mr.- He.rdma.-n, which, -while- not'. commensurate with: tho services rendered, will at least ehow that this country 'can always admire and reward courago,-honesty, and national spirit. Perhaps you, sir. who kavo also done such good work during tho lato strike, will take -up this matter. in your editorial columns while tho feeling of.gratitude .towards those gentlemen is still strong in the land.— I' am, etc., .-.,..
