Three thousand lodue appointments in New South Wales have been formally rendered vacant by the expiration notice given by those members of tho British Medical Association in New South Wales who are acting as lodge doctors, to terminate their agreements. Should th® Friendly Societies wish to re-enr-age them they can only do so under the new agreement formulated bv the British Medieal Association. The nucstion at issue between the two bodies is being tested in a practical manner.
