The Porte has informed tho Powers that Turkey will not accept o special l'ogimo for tho Islands temporarily occupied by Italy, beyond what is stipulated in tho Treaty of Lausanne, nor will she entertain a principle of correlation bct.vecn tho delimitation of tho southern frontier of Albania and the disposal of the islands occupied by tho Greeks. Groat Britain forwarded r\ Note to the Powers propositi? that Greece should retain the occupied islands 111 the Aegean Sea, except Imbros and .Tenedos. whilst Riving guarantees concerning their fortification, and also .proposing that Italy should restore tho "captured islands to Turkey,. which promises to grant them autonomy. The Note was agreed to bv Prance and Russia.
