Reports from Presidio (Texas) state that the northern division of the Mexican Federal Army lias apparently been completely defeated. The vanquished fled across the United States border in a panic. 'Iho United States troops surrounded scores of them and forced tliem back across the boundary. It is now reported that 4000 rebel troops scattered tho Federals in all directions, and that hundreds of dead and wounded.soldiers are scattered alone the frontier.
