SIIACKLETON'S EXPEDITION LEAVES NEXT YEAR. 8? telegraph—Press Association—Oop jri-rii i (Rec. December 29, 9.30 p.m.) London, December 29. Sir Ernest Shaekieton announces that through the generosity of a friend ho will be able to leave for South Amcrica, in 1914, crossing to the South Polar regions, and returning via Now Zealand. He will designate tie expedition tho Imperial Trans-Antarctic Expedition, believing that his.kinsmen ir. all oversea lands will assist.
